eva´s kleidertruhe

Ein Projekt das ich schon länger auf meiner Nähliste befand konnte ich vergangenes Jahr endlich verwirklichen. Last year I was able to finally realize a longtime project on my sewing-list. Für unseren Besuch der Grand Regency Promenade beim Jane Austen Festival in Bath 2015 nähte ich mir ein Chemisenkleid nach dem Schnitt des National Museum of Denmark. Der Stoff ist bedruckte Baumwolle den ich vor einiger Zeit gekauft habe, ohne zu wissen was ich  daraus nähen werde. An der Farbkombi weiß/blau kann ich einfach nicht vorbei ;-) For the Grand Regency Promenade of the Jane Austen Festival in Bath in 2015 I made a chemise dress after the pattern of the National Museum of Denmark . The fabric ist printed cotton I bought some time ago, without any specific project in mind. I´m not able to resist the colour combination white/blue ;-) Die Konstruktion der Biesen und Fältchen ist sehr aufwendig, aber genau diese machen das Kleid zu etwas ganz besonderen. The construction of the tucks and pleats is very elaborate, but precisely these make the dress into something special. Neues Jahr, neue (Näh-)Projekte! Ich hoffe ihr seid alle gut ins Neue Jahr gerutscht!?! New Year, new (sewing-) projects! I wish you all a Happy New Year!!! Ich bin wieder voller Vorfreude darauf, viele neue und auch alte Projekte dieses Jahr zu vollenden. In diesem Jahr werde ich an The Historical Sew Monthly 2016 teilnehmen. Die erste Challenge hat mich ganz besonders angesprochen - und sofort motiviert ein Kleid wieder auf meinen Nähtisch zu bringen, das ich vor 1 1/2 Jahren begonnen habe! I´m looking forward to complete many of my new and old projects. This year I will participate The Historical Sew Monthly 2016 .
