Eines meiner aktuellen Lieblingskleider ist bereits 2015 für unsere 6. Englandreise entstanden.

One of my currently favourite dresses I made back in 2015 for our 6th journey in Jane Austen´s footsteps. The pattern for the dress is again from www.19thus.com.
Das Kleid ist von Hand mit Leinengarn genäht.
Das Vorderteil wird mittels Bänder auf die gewünschte Weite gebracht, dann wird das Rockteil ebenfalls mit Hilfe von Bändern im Rücken geschlossen. Ich mag den simplen und doch interessanten Schnitt, der Ausschnitt am Rückenteil gefällt mir besonders.
It is sewn by hand with linen thread.
The bodice is closed at the front by drawstrings and then the skirt is closed over it at the back, again with strings.
I love the simple but interesting pattern, especially the neckline at the back.
Den Stoff habe ich 2014 in einem Patchwork Laden in Bath erstanden.
Ich habe ihn auch deshalb für diesen Schnitt gewählt, da man an der Konstruktion am Oberteil gut erkennen kann, dass es wohl aus einem Kleid einer früheren Zeit umgeändert wurde. Wie man an den folgenden Bildern sehen kann, ist das Oberteil länger geschnitten, beinahe bis zur Taille. Der Rockteil wird dann an die erhöhte Taille angesetzt.
I bought the fabric at a patchwork shop in Bath in 2014.
I also choose this pattern, as I think you can easily see by the construction of the bodice, that it seems the original dress has been altered and is from an earlier date. In the following pictures one can see that the bodice is cut longer, nearly to the natural waistline. The skirt is then sewn onto the raised waistline.
Das Vorderteil hat nicht sehr viel Weite und wird dadurch nur ein wenig gerafft. Was für mich in meiner Schwangerschaft ein "Problem" darstellte. ;-) Ich hatte zum Glück noch einen kleinen Rest des Stoffes übrig, womit ich nachträglich die fehlende Weite an die vorderen Mitten stückeln konnte.
The bodice front is not very wide and is therefore gathered just a little bit. Which became a "problem" during my pregnancy ;-) I had luckily a bit of the fabric left, with which I altered the front of the bodice.
Es trägt sich einfach wunderbar und wird mich auf jeden Fall auf unsere zukünftige Reise begleiten.
I love to wear it and it will surely accompany me on our next journey.
